Question: I need to setup Secure Socket Layer (SSL) access for my website. How and where do I need to upload my secured access web Pages?

SSL enables secure Internet communications between a user and Web Server. All data that is sent and received is encrypted so that eavesdroppers, which may observe traffic passing through their networks can't read it. It is typically used on forms that ask for confidential or financial information, such as credit card details.

To set up SSL , follow the steps given below:

1. Open your web browser, such as Internet Explorer, and type the following address http://my.ezpublishing.com.
2. Enter your Customer ID and Password, provided with your account confirmation E-mail.
3. Click on Services on the red navigation bar.
4. On the next page, click on your domain name, such as ‘demo1.ezpublishing.com’.
5. The ‘Manage Your Service’ page for the domain opens.
6. Under the ‘Security’ category, click on ‘Secure SSL Server’.
7. This will enable the https://https0.ezpublishing.com/demo1.ezpublishing.com.

To upload your secure web pages using a FTP client, such as CuteFTP, use the following information:

Ftp Address: https0.ezpublishing.com
Username: demo1
Password: Your regular password

You must place all your files in your ‘wwws’ directory in order to make them viewable at https://https0.ezpublishing.com/demo1.ezpublishing.com.
